Good: Greens Lanes is wonderful for food. It is cheap, convenient and delicious. I always want to go to Hala when I go to see my London friend in Wood Green, but I reckon you could go anywhere on this street. Portion size is enormous so you probably don't need a starter. Beware, do not fill up with bread. You get given it free, but don't eat it all up. You won't have room for your meat.
The father of my electrician said that Green Lanes is called Green Lanes because they served as passure for cows on the way to market, in the olden days.
Bad: Nothing.
